I began my career as a chartered accountant before moving into investment banking and then senior finance roles in private equity-backed businesses, including CFO positions across multiple portfolio companies.

I've worked across the PE investment lifecycle — from acquisition and buy-and-build through transformation to a successful exit — in different sectors, countries and with different funds. That breadth matters. I've seen enough different businesses and situations to know there's rarely only one way of looking at a problem.

Alongside my executive career, I've served as a member of an Advisory Committee and as Chair of its Audit Committee. That experience has given me both an executive and board-level perspective on PE-backed businesses.

I know how PE works, and I know what it takes to get things done.

I bring independent judgement and I'm comfortable asking difficult questions. I particularly enjoy working alongside senior executives, bringing challenge, perspective and support.

Having sat on both sides of the table, I can help bridge any gap between management teams and investors — understanding the pressures on executives while also helping them see the business through a PE lens.

I believe boards need to think as hard about value protection as value creation. Growth gets attention; risk can sit quietly in the background until suddenly it doesn't. That means looking beyond the immediate plan and understanding what could materially undermine the investment case, as well as what will drive it forward.
