I began my career training as a chartered accountant, before moving into investment banking and then into senior finance roles in private equity-backed businesses.

I began my career training as a chartered accountant, before moving into investment banking.

I then transitioned into senior finance roles in private equity-backed businesses, including CFO positions across multiple portfolio companies.

Over time, I have worked closely with private equity funds, including multiple roles within a single investment platform. This has given me a strong understanding of how investors think, alongside the realities of operating and scaling businesses.

Alongside my executive roles, I have held positions as a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chair.

I bring a practical, grounded perspective.

I focus on creating clarity in complex situations — taking what is often grey and helping define priorities, direction and action.

I place strong emphasis on people — ensuring the right individuals are in the right roles, with clear expectations, accountability and support to perform at their best. Building and mobilising teams quickly, and enabling them to deliver, has been a consistent part of my work.

I also focus on maintaining pace, while ensuring that momentum is aligned with clear priorities and controlled execution.

I work across different stages of the investment lifecycle — including pre-deal, at board level, and alongside management teams.

What this means in practice is bringing judgement and perspective into decision-making — helping to challenge assumptions, assess risk, and focus on what will ultimately drive value.

Alongside my advisory work, I am currently part of the Row For Life team, preparing to row 2,800 miles across the Pacific in June–July 2026, raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

The challenge reflects many of the same principles that apply in business — resilience, teamwork and long-term execution.
